Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this journal, the authors of the document have deleted their names from the text and the Abstract.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word, document file format.
Manuscripts should be set on 8 ½ x11-inch size, with a page number assigned to each page.
Margins should be at traditional settings (top and bottom margins at 1 inch and side margins at 1.25 inches).
Maximum length of a manuscript for an article is 30 pages, appendix and references included.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; Times New Roman , and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
An abstract, between 100 and 200 words, that is a synopsis of the article, giving a preview of its contents and explaining why the topic is important to the reader. The abstract should precede the body of the article and include up to 5 JEL classification codes.
Number tables and equations with Arabic numbers, and number figures with Roman numerals. Enclose equation numbers in parentheses and place them in the right margin.
List source references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript using the format shown below:

All charts, graphs, and tables should be inserted at their appropriate places within the body of the manuscript, rather than at the end.

Footnotes should be used only for further explanations, not for references to literature. The footnote number is a 8-point superscript. The footnote text must appear at the bottom of the page, *not* at the end of the document.
This manuscript or substantial parts of it, is not under consideration by any other journal.
This manuscript has not already been published in any journal.
Authors submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright, infringement of proprietary right, invasion of privacy, or libel and will indemnify, defend, and hold Banking and Finance Review or sponsor(s) harmless from any damages, expenses, and costs against any breach of such warranty.
Reviewing is a duty of every active researcher. If you submit a paper to the BFR, you are obliged to review one paper in return. The journal system will add each author submitting a paper to our Editorial Review Board as a potential referee.
Note, this does not mean that you are obliged to respond positively to every review request. To be fair to the authors and editors, you should only accept papers that you can confidently review, either on topics you know or are willing to get to know.
- All manuscripts shall be subject to an editorial pre-screening process to assess suitability for the journal. Subject to the pre-screening, the manuscript will be sent to anonymous peer reviewer(s) . The author(s) of the manuscripts that didn't pass the pre-screening process will be notified.
- if accepted for publication , we shall prepare and publish your Article in the Journal. We reserve the right to make such editorial changes as may be necessary to make the Article suitable for publication; and we reserve the right not to proceed with publication for whatever reason.
